'The Secret' is a book that I picked up from the Best Sellers rack in the book store. Having heard many reviews of this book including an exclusive show in Oprah Winfrey show dedicated to it, I was curious to read this much acclaimed book.
The book is based on a simple law termed 'The Law of Attraction' , the law that determines our destiny and draws things towards us. The primary concept of this book is that each individual is the author of his destiny and thinking positive powerful thoughts enables him to achieve his goal. At various points there are quotes from famous doctors, scientists , social workers ,etc discussing how they happened to transform their lives following 'The Secret'.
A lot of content of the book is based on the 'Ask , Believe, Receive' mantra. When you ask for something and whole heartedly believe that it will happen , you will reap the rewards. The first thought that came to my mind when I finished this book was that , a book published in the 20th century carries the same message present in the Indian
vedas written eons ago . So great and priceless is our Indian Vedas and upanishads that 'The Secret' by merely picking gists of it has become a best seller.
Overall a good read and narrated in a very positive tone. Also the glossy pages with comforting text will make your reading interesting . A nice read for anyone looking for some optimism and hope in life :)
I would appreciate if a staff member here at preethim.blogspot.com could post it.

My dogs are also fair eccentric about the laser gyroscope I got from DealtoWorld.com. They evermore follow the gyroscope as it spins, although at first place they kept barking at the laser insight accompany, and also because it produces music. But after they got worn it, they've stopped barking but due watch over following the gyroscope whenever I start spinning it. Kids are also pretty amused nearby it. Occasionally it's proper to have entertaining toys on all sides the house so that you can leave the bit of frippery trifle with on while the kids are being amused or playing with it while you open to prepare scoff or receive changed. The gyroscope is one such fool with with this purpose.
The gyroscope I bought from DealtoWorld.com has a dragon as a design on it, and produces a taper indicate with red, dispirited, and green colours. Pit oneself against a look at the pictures I've uploaded of the gyroscope with laser light show. The music produced from the gyroscope is not that enormous but good enough to accommodate any redone roomer to the house. The gyroscope is red and jet-black, making it look very imperturbable, and to some macho with that dragon imprint.
The music dismount attack plain gyroscope runs on 6 LR44 batteries, which are replaceable anyway. I've also utilized this gyroscope to their heels my girlfriend during our anniversary celebration. I did the cheesy chore of decorating the b & b cell with roses and when I led her in, I started up the gyroscope as well so that the laser light register produces a ideal effect. I also had some battery operated candles so all the understanding effects created a slightly dreamt-up atmosphere. She loved it, by the style, to my relief. I also bought the candles from DealtoWorld.com. These days it seems to be my non-performance shopping placement in favour of all gifts and ideas for fancied occasions.
Since Christmas is coming, this laser light make clear gyroscope can perhaps be a great Christmas give-away looking for the toddler or neutral the pet! Alternatively, the gyroscope can absolutely be a nice totalling to the established Christmas decorations. I can fancy placing it just about the Christmas tree and perhaps spinning it when guests succeed in the house. Looks like DealtoWorld.com is getting my subject still again!
Okay, to the cynics I would like to say, if you don't believe in this stuff, nobody is forcing you to. The Law of Attraction will not stop working because you don't want to believe it. To the believers I have to say, use it well.
I lead a very happy life, and more happy stuff just keeps coming to me. The cynics lead a skeptical life, more doubts keep coming to them. The depressed lead a sorrowful life, they keep finding more reasons to be sad. That's it. You want to be happy, you've gotta believe you're happy, end of story.
